The new Monogram Denim collection is a high-end LV’s line, made from, surprisingly, denim. The bags offer an exclusive LV vintage look and although they may look somewhat girly, they’re extremely feminine on the inside. LV’s wed states that there are four handbags in the Monogram Denim collection – the Monogram Denim XS; the Neo Cabby MM; the Slightly Denim and the Neo Cabby GM.
The Slightly is an ergonomic lightweight bag. Its title says everything – its slight colors, its slight canvas and the possibility to use the bag casually. It’s softly folded and is regareded as body-friendly. The vintage look preserves the style of the wearer, but the adjustable shoulder strap makes it able to be carried both on the shoulder and by your body. The Monogram Denim Canvas stands out as most of LV’s canvas do; it also has golden brass pieces, a flat pocket and a phone pocket and it is the most affordable from the collection, retailing for slightly over one thousand bucks. It comes in three nice colors – pink, gray and black.
The Louis Vuitton XS, on the other hand, doesn’t look so witty; it’s more feminine and straightforward. It’s ideal for casual use and the only drawback of the bag could be that it comes only in black, but it still has the beautiful LV Monogram all over it. It has a round shape and can be carried in different ways, hence it has an adjustable strap. It has all that the usual bag has, plus a little more – an internal patch pocket, a D-Ring for a smaller bag or a key-holder. Its rounded form is adjusted with folded layers makes it look great together with the pressure lock it has.
The ‘city bag’ of the collection, the Neo Cabby MM, is more like a bag for a businesswoman. It easily can hold documents up to A4 format and other stuff that needs to be there when you go to work or a business meeting. The both supple and strong Cabby can be held in hands or on the shoulder and across the body. The versatile design makes this bag stand out from the crowd. It comes with the Monogram Denim canvas, microfiber lining, an adjustable strap, a patch pocket and a cellphone pocket inside. It usually retails for about a little over fifteen thousand and is certainly a solid choice from the Denim line, in all three colors of the line – pink, gray and black.
The Neo Cabby GM is the largest of the collection. It’s perfect for businesswomen who want to carry a laptop with them, although it depends on the size. The feminine folding makes the bag stand out from the crowd, much like the aforementioned Cabby MM does. It has all the features MM has plus side straps to account for the size of the bag, larger space and an interior that’s more generous. This bag is a perfect choice if you like feminine bags that still remain somewhat witty.
